Saddle Gerbils

If you did not know Jenifer Buxton from Breymere Custom Saddlery has two rats that she calls saddle rats. I on the other hand have two "saddle gerbils"! I don't think that I could ever get Latte and Mocha to stay still with a saddle on their back, so I just took some photos of them in my stablemate barn.

Latte taking in the view.

OOOH! What is that?

Mocha decided that she just had to see what Latte was squeaking about.

Benji Also had a good look.

Two gerbils in a barn!

Latte decided that she had enough so she tried to make a run for it.

Field of Dolls Online Photo Show

As you might know Anne from Field of Dolls Studio is hosting an online live show. I read that she needed donations so I sat down and started to make halters.

I don't think that I will enter, only because I know that I probably won't win and even for the experience online just is not the same as in person. If only there was a youth show *sigh*.

Oh and by the way look at my new tack set. It will be going up for sale on Etsy within the next week so keep on the lookout! I laced the reins and that took a while, but I think that they came out awesome!

Latte and Mocha

I am so sorry for the silence. School just started and I was really busy, but I have some exiting news! We got 2 gerbils! Their names are Latte and Mocha. Even though I said we, it is technically my brother. I sleep with Benji so Max wanted someone to sleep with so he got the gerbils.

Now let me tell you how hard it is to take a picture of a gerbil. They never stop moving, so all my pictures are a but blurry and not very good... I will try and take a good picture of one tomorrow.

We are working on taming them, and so far they seem a bit skittish. But I guess thats normal for baby gerbils in a new home.

No More Braces

Hello! I recently got my bottom row of braces off! It is so much better with no braces, and my teeth are now perfectly straight and smooth.

Now I know that I still have my top row, but my bottom is still something. When they took of the brackets they had to drill off the glue, and my dentist just shredded my gums, so in the photos my gums are pretty swollen.

This is my retainer. It is clear so my phone had trouble picking it up....

Well I'm sure that you want to hear about horses, so tomorrow I promise to post about that.
